It is enclosing a furnace, water heater, and washer/dryer. So I was hoping to connect 4 doors on each side. A total of 8 doors in all.

So what did you do, Cindy? I am in the same boat, washer, deter, utility sink, and furnace.

this is the only thing ive found that wide. other than making your own

Just sucks that the ones from Home Depot at almost $800.

Hello I am looking to update my siding and need some help.

i realize this is an old post. With a closet opening of 96” wide I wouldn’t cover it all up at once with bifold doors without first looking at the possibility of breaking up the 8’ span into different sections of doors or modules to cover what you specifically need where. it doesn’t have to be 8‘ of only bifold doors (could end up being that way in the end, but at least give alternates a try on paper before a final decision.

i guess there are superior very wide bifold doors available with excellent support top and bottom to slide like a dream and that close perfectly with one side not sagging 1/4” more than the other. My personal biased experience with big interior bifold closet doors is they end up looking looking bad, lightweight slabs & they pop out of track the larger they get and the hinges get loose, don’t close in perfect alignment (one side sitting a little higher than another) and overall a PITA to use and look at. Technology can always improve with excellent strong hardware to make bifold doors work beautiful/perfectly and I’m always willing to see what else there is, such as some accordion wall folding systems designed to overcome the flimsy nature. But like anything else there is a great cost for that level of function and craftsmanship. Good luck, this isn‘t a knee jerk criticism of something you likely really do want, just an encouragement to look at other ways to do it.
