Can't really see what is happening with the vestibule.

I assume the vestibule was added on and they had to make a flat roof over the vestibule so the second floor window would remain, if they made the roof over the vestibule come to a peak the center 2nd floor window would not fit. Your options are to remove the vestibuleand make the front of the house even all away across the front or eliminate the the second floor window. If these are not options that would work for you maybe a metal railing around the flat roof that ties into the house.

Color idea attached. Pull out the shrubs and plant smaller ones, that don't quite reach bottom of windows and have gaps.

Per Dytecture, a picture taken from the driveway, about 20 feet from the corner of the house will help to better understand the roof over the entry vestibule. It looks as though the main roof is a gambrel root with the upper floor walls built as a dorner framing back into it, right? I don't mind the 'eyebrow' roof as a visual separation, but I believe there may be a better way to address the entry portion, and with the addtional pic I suggest, I am certain that will help fellow 'Houzzers' give you some suggestions.

Installing some fixutre outside will definitely give more or a curb appeal

Put lites around front where tall brushes are add flowers on both sides of walk way approx 18" border. Adding color where big brushes are maybe Bird of Paradise, or borganvila in hot pink. Would give more interest to front.

Also adding fence like next door. Paint front door a bright red.

New bigger lights on porch in black.

For roof use the blue gray slate. Paint house a med gray with white shutters and Red door. New light fixtures. You could put black slate over walkway for a more modern look. See comments about plants. You need some color. Add a large tree in middle to side with flower and wood chips in a big circle around it.

Put a large conifer tree on each side of the walk way, setting back from the curb about 6-8 feet. Put a wonderful fence around the front yard leaving the trees just in front of the fence , with some beautiful street front landscaping of shrubs laced with flowers. Then nestle your home into a more private classic, interior from the front, garden. I would make it into a riot of flowers of and shrubs. Something blooming all of the time.

It will be a world that people look into the gate and to your lovely home and they don't even notice the utility pole as there is just too many appealing, other, things to look in and about your garden.
