Window trim & baseboards

Hello I’m getting plantation shutters installed and I need to decide on frame. My baseboards are more “Victorian “ style and the window casings I want to put in after I get the shutters is more craftsman. Can I mix the trims or should I just go with a “z frame “ to match my baseboards. Here is a pic of the casings I’d like to put on my shutters vs my baseboards. Thanks!

You have detailed base molding and if you plan to use crown molding on top of the header it would look much better if your casing has some sort of a profile.

That being said, if you plan on using plate rail molding like in the picture you can probably get away with using flat casing.
