My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Could someone ID this one please? I got it in a trade in '10 and lost the ID. Looks like it's going to have a pretty decent seed crop. Is it self-fertile? Will seeds be viable?
I'm certainly no expert on these, but since nobody else has weighed in, my starting guess would be Dyckia platyphylla or maybe brevifolia, or a hybrid with one of those in its parentage. There are lots of species and hybrids out there that I've not seen in person, but you can look through the pictures on the FCBS site. In my own collection I've got species, hybrids, and a bunch of unnamed F2 hybrids that I liked the look of, and you may only be able to narrow it down to likely parents. From what I've read, some dyckias are self fertile and some are not, and I've had both viable and non viable seed from my plants. http://fcbs.org/pictures/Dyckia.htm
