Staircase looks awesome, the light fixture really compliments the new look.

Love the spindles, they give an art deco feel to the new staircase. That floor, it's a dramatic change, but oh boy, it's gonna be hard to keep clean of dust! ;-) I also love the dark contrasting light fixture. It really pulls everything together, giving it a modern clean vibe. Nicely done.

The one pictured here was about $10,000.

Though the old one looked more traditional, the new one doesn't show much contrast or interest as it's all just so black. All of it black. Personally, I would have contrasting spindles.

It looks black here but it is actually an espresso stain on the wood and the spindles are black. The wood has more color variation than is shown in the photo.

Big change, great work on the stairs and the lamp is very original, congratulations!!!!
