Would you suggest going with more of a creamy white tone vs a stark white? I had considered grey but I am nervous that it will limit my options down the road and may seem dated sooner than a clean white tile.

The white on the left will almost look Pink next to the creamier Alabaster cabinets. Tile on the right is better because you are not matching an exact “value”, several shades darker than cabinets and countertop. It works better with the veining in countertop. The other option is to choose a tile that has white AND creamy shades in it- which more than likely would be a natural tile/stone

I like the gray tile.

My only concern with the gray tile is that under the cabinets it is pulling more of a green which I am not a fan of.

You could continue the calacatta Verona up the backsplash. You already have 2 shades of white going on and I don’t think you want to add a third.

Have you considered using quartz as a backsplash, too? That way, you will avoid introducing several shades of white and also avoid gray you are afraid of. Another option is to use marble tiles that will have both white and gray, like Carrara White, and see how will it go with the rest of the decor.

What did you end up deciding on? Can you post some pictures?

my wife and I are going through the exact same dilemma right now with the white cabinets and Verona countertops. We like the idea of a white backsplash with maybe a colored grout to match the countertop. We are also very nervous about the grey option as it may make the kitchen to dark and contrast with our colored island. Curious if you wouldn’t mind sharing what option you ended up going with and any pictures? Thank you!
