I see there is not much protecting the sliding doors from the elements. Perhaps that small overhang is enough? I have similar doors and am constructing a similarly-designed addition (at siding stage at the moment). Wondering what I can do to protect doors as they already seem to have problems with rain sitting on threshold and bouncing off deck onto glass.
