I just wanted to say that I love the 4" LED can light right over my sink. I have a 6" can about a foot away from that and it doesn't light up the sink when I'm doing dishes like the one just above it does. They're on two separate switches so I can have one or both on. I know you have two on each side, so maybe yours will be different. We did the 6" can lights in the rest of the kitchen and one 4" and I can't decide if I like the 4" among the other five 6" cans. Maybe yours won't be as noticeable since you're using 4" and 5". Let me know if you want to see pics of my lights as an example and Good Luck! Lighting design isn't easy :)

Dar W,

thanks for the input.

Yes, I'd like to see a photo.

I don't know if 2 four inch lights is overkill over the sink, but thought it would help with lighting the 6-ish feet in front of the window.

Good point about the look of two different diameters. I picked 5 inch because the actual light is 5 inches in diameter even on the 6 inch, and thought it may minimize the difference visiaisually. I believe the 6 inch just has a wider trim ring.
