Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some ideas on how to arrange furniture in my small basement. My main goal is to be able to fully utilize the small space without any wasted space.

The red rectangle in the floor plan is the fireplace. Hanging the TV over the fireplace would not work because the sofa would block the entryway and make the space seem smaller.

I would like to include:
- (Must) Three-seat recliner with a chaise
- (Must) TV
- (Must) Coffee table
- (Maybe) One or two armchair near fireplace
- (Maybe) A small elliptical
- (Maybe) A small fridge for husband :)

I don't have the measurements of these furnitures because I will be buying them based on an arrangement that works best.

Also, the flooring is ceramic tiles... which I don't love but will leave alone for now. Is it weird to have one giant rug to cover the whole basement? Or have two split rugs? I'm completely new to home decorating so please advise :)
