Have you thought of stacking your W/D set? that could free up some room.

can you fit the w/d set on the left wall? then the dryer would be vented out toward the garage. I wouldn't want the dryer vent exiting under the windows in your bumpout in the front of the house.

I think a the pantry would work well to have a pocket door, so that the door swing wouldn't get in the way, and you could have a counter on that wall from the closet to the pantry as a drop off zone for groceries, without having to walk around the door to get into the pantry. This area could also be an area for coats and shoes, though I would rather have that closer to the door, there is not a goo location for dumping muddy shoes, near the door.

A sink could go at the drop off center between the closet and pantry. Or it could go into the lower left corner of the room, next to the new placement of the w/d.

In the alcove, I'd put a desk or a working counter with a view. I would not put the washer dryer in that location.

Post the whole floor plan. I'd want a w/d in my closet on the left wall. I would also want a w/d in the utility room. I would not want that door into the closet from the utility room.
