What paint colors appear in the adjoining spaces?

You usually can't paint stairwells on their own, they almost always run into hallways/living rooms/ entryways etc, which we would need to see to recommend colors.

It is a small entry that leads to the stairway. We just moved in..so I am going to be eventually painting all rooms. The entry is tan... I lean towards blues and greys. Looking for options.

If you want gray, consider doing the stairs in a black or white like pictured.

Like the above, but a warm gray will look fine with the oak.
