What's with the dog print?

I have this tile in my home in Philadelphia and it has a dgo print on it too. What does it mean?

    Hello, I've been told that those are coyote prints, when they dry them the tiles are laid out in the sun on the ground to dry and sometimes coyotes step on them.

    It is considered good luck to place these tiles just inside the doorway.
