It's been a while since this one went up, but I believe it was 40' by 100'. The home we built inside is just about 1500 square feet, with three bedrooms and two full baths. Lots of connected outdoor spaces too for a really expansive feeling.

Two 60x60s would be really cool and functional, especially if you need two distinct spaces to serve your family! From an energy perspective -- I say this because you asked about insulation -- that approach will have more exterior surface area which will really increase your heat loss.

After we erected this superstructure, the interior house was so simple to build. We were able to be tied off with harnesses all over, walls as deep as we wanted, and no worries about rain. It was such a fun site!
