The room is under renovations.

It is a small family room with a fireplace (stone) and dark chocolate cabinets for an entertainment unit.

I would like the fireplace to be the focal point so I don't want too dark of a leather couch.

What color is the stone of the fireplace?

The stone will be dark grey with brown tones.

Well, personally then I like the leather color you've chosen! I see what you are trying to do. I would try to use some punchy accent pillows, throw, or something else on the couch to break up what is sort of a monotone color palette on the couch, hardwood, and rug. Your fireplace will still stand out. Good luck - sounds beautiful!
