SW Florida, plant exchange plant

I received this in a plant exchange. I thought someone said it was a ground orchid, but the flower doesn't look like an orchid. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks! (This is the only photo I have--this is someone else's plant, mine is only leaves at the moment, a plant stem that I am hoping will root.)

It could very well be an Arundina of some flavor. Probably A graminifolia since that’s the most common one.

It looks like a spiderwort with a vinca flower stuck in it.

It could be! Not mine so I can't check if the flower just fell onto it!

We are looking at the back of the flower, with the stalk that connected it to the plant it came from poking out. And the face of the flower pointing into the completely unrelated plant it dropped on.

The supposed ground orchid does look like it has a flowering stem of its own stretching off to the right, beyond the view of the camera. That is what we should be looking at.

marcia if you can't get a full pic of your friends plant could you take a pic of your cutting? It certainly appears to be a Tradescantia (Spiderwort) or at least something in Commelinaceae.

Very hard to get a good photo of the plant. I know it isn't Campsis radicans, because I have an orange flowering one of that plant. There are 2 cuttings in the pot. I messaged the person who shared the plant but haven't heard back from her yet. Thanks!
