Induction range question

I'm thinking of buying an LG slide-in induction range for my kitchen remodel, which will go on in an island. I read one review that said it does not go flush to the counter on the back, which is an issue if there is no wall behind the range. They also said there is no over the counter rim on the sides to prevent spillage between the range and the counter. Does anyone have this range who could address these questions? I can't seem to find the range in a store to be able to see it for myself.
