Cool. Thanks for the suggestion! I was also looking at the Kohler Bellwether. It's enameled cast iron but very simple, which I like. Any experience with this model? General concerns with cast ion over acrylic?

Cast iron is heavy to get into the space.

Look at American Standard Americast, it's lighter than cast iron but much nicer than acrylic. It's enameled steel.They make a deep apron front soaker tub that's inexpensive. I've used it in a child's bathroom and it held up very well. Cast iron would be my first choice, but if weight is a concern this might work.
