Induction Range Advice

We recently moved out of a home where I had an Electrolux induction range. It was model EW30IS65JS. We replaced the boards several times, but after the last time, it had been almost two years. I'd like to keep from replacing boards on the new one, if possible.

Our new kitchen currently has a GE coil electric stove and I hate it. I'd like to replace it with another induction, but do not have 3K+ to spend. Admittedly, I did love how the oven racks glided, but the oven itself wasn't wonderful. I cook daily for a family of 8-9, so I need the largest hob in the front.

Replacing this with a slide-in would be ok, but if the only difference is aesthetics, I'm ok with a freestanding unit. We don't plan for this to be our forever home, but I need to like cooking again. I've looked at the under 1K Frigidaire units, and they seem so flimsy. Is there something middle of the range that might be a better option? If not, I'll just get one of the Frigidaire freestanding ranges.
