We have a sleep number bed (split king) with an adjustable base. It fits perfectly and works fine. The only issue is that our base sits really high and we can't lower it. Won't be a problem when we get proper bedding to cover it but there is definitely a lot of space between the bed rails and the bottom of the mattress.

So the rails sit below the mattress? Would a bedspread cover that? We can't fit the bed skirt on the sleep number so my husband wants a frame. Thank you
