may be you can lay against the wall a white ladder (so it looks you can climb up) but to each step attach a wider shelf on which you can lay all the toys, also you may think of painting the wall so the cabinet does not look so lost .. maybe some warm light grey would make it

That wall is perfect for a wallpaper feature wall. Or I'm an avid lover of indoor panelling (bead board). I would panel to my hearts delight there!

If you want to hide the toys (I am guessing this room is a multi-functional room/dining room) then I would suggest a large storage chest/trunk to store the toys in. Above the chest you could then have some wall decal to break up the expanse of wall above. There are some lovely ones around which will add interest and they come in many different colours.

Kerry thanks! like maybe even a bench with storage. and a large plant in the corner to create a bit of a Moroccan vibe... but there are so many storage chests/benches it's a bit overwhelming. However now I can tell my bubby that a "professional' agrees with me! ;) he thinks the wall is not empty.

That's a lovely cabinet but it needs company. A really large art print (inexpensive from the internet) or multiple
pictures like the ones in panels - big big big is the way to go.

Color! You have a white cabinet on a white wall on a nearly white floor. And since you do not have the cabinet centered under the peak of the cathedral ceiling, you really need something to create some balance, like artwork as previously suggested.

You're welcome Alla. Don't feel overwhelmed. I would choose one that matches the other cupboard you have in the picture or dark grey (to match the furniture and keep it neutral if that's the 'look' you prefer). A bench, with storage, in those colours would look just as good too. Yes a large palm next to it would do the trick and break the wall up. Good luck whatever you decide to do. Great room by the way!
