My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Is it made from mahogany or pine? The description says both.

In the description, it says it's made from mahogany with a veneer. Then just below, it says it's made from pine wood. Which is it? For the price, I'd hope it's hard wood and not pine which ages very quickly. Thanks!

    Thanks for reaching out about the Decatur Platform Bed! This is one of our fantastic products that we curate from a great local supplier. The Decatur collection has been incredibly popular thanks to its gorgeous wood finish - nice pick!

    Typically with a platform bed, when pine is mentioned, it is referring to the slats used to hold the mattress in place. The great news here is that the Mahogany mentioned, is used in the actual construction of the frame, with the MDF being applied to the top of that to give a smooth finish.
