I have a Halcyon..I think it's the smaller blue on the right of a taller blue on the left side of the path..not a hosta but self seeded Hellebores IN the path (on my "need to move" list for quite awhile)..good one about the Housework Paula!..here's another Housework thought..thanks everyone for such Handsome Hostas!

Hillbilly Blues also caught the attention of an army of slugs...I will put it back in a pot and surround it with slug pellets in spring. It is a very nice hosta and I want to have it safe on one of my wooden stairs.

Nicholsworth, my blue pot is around 6". Its stashed away in the shed right now, would be a pain to get a true measurement. Most of my potted hosta are in blue pots, I like the blue with all of the green.

Some real stunners today! Sherrygirl, that halcyon is breathtaking. I've had a halcyon for several years - it was here when we bought the place. But it's always been an underachiever. If it comes back this spring, I've got another spot in mind for it. But having it approach any of the halcyons here is a pipe dream, I'm afraid.

ZKathy LOL no no one helps here which is why I want to hire a crew. My son lives here and he keeps up with mowing the yard but that is about it. I am feeling much better so much so the Dr has released me to return to work Monday on light duty. My reports have come back so good. My nodes are aok. I still have to see the kemo man on Tuesday so onward I go. Thank you all for asking. Loving the hostas. I still have one that is up from last summer.

Peren, that pic of Holy Mouse Ears in bloom is an all-time classic hosta pic. Seriously, that should be THE standard HME photo. Nice work.

So glad to hear you are progressing well Paula! My son is not keen to help me in the garden either unfortunately.

My Hanky Panky (purchased in 2016) showed strong signs of virus in 2017. Because of the color changes this hosta goes through, the virus can be difficult to identify. But it so clearly looked infected, out to the garbage it went! Peren.all your Hanky Panky's are stunning. They couldn't be prettier! Thanks for the seasonal change photos. I love seeing all of them.

Happy Dayz looks like a lovely hosta. I have discovered from my hosta list that I actually have one! No picture unfortunately. I also thought Forbidden Fruit looked wonderful in the Hosta F thread, and then I discovered I actually have a young one! I think "no more hosta shopping this year" until I get to grips with what I actually have. Yeah, right---like that's going to happen! LOL
