I love your table and chairs set. Do you have a particular style you would like to move towards if you need to find a new table that seats more people?

Thank for your kind comments. I would like maybe a rectangular table, preferably not with legs in the corners. Besides the size issue, I think there is something missing, lack of style or fun.

I think you may be tired of the monochromatic color scheme. The walls appear to be camel and the furniture and floor are brown. The rug has the only visible color. Are you going to purchase a new table and chairs? If you are, consider upholstered Parson chairs or some other type of upholstered chair that suits your style. They would offer comfort for seating and give you color and pattern to work with. A rectangular table could offer more seating.. If you are going to change to upholstered chairs I would get something I love and not worry about matching the current rug. You can remove the rug or purchase a new one as you are able. If you are trying for a completely new look you may have trouble trying to work with the pattern and colors in the current rug and still get a real change. I have no idea what your budget or room size are so these suggestions are what popped into my head. Regardless of budget you can paint, buy some plates or accessories with new color in them for inside the china cabinet and replace the centerpiece. It looks like you have sconces on the wall. There are many sources online for lighting. You could create an impact if you choose a new style. Changing them out is easy especially if you will be painting. New larger art on the walls could add color. I don't know how much you want to change but I hope these ideas help.

I have made some changes, and looks much better now. I haven't change the chairs, that's step #2.
