wood type and finish

Beautiful!
What type of wood was used for timbers and decking and what kind and color of finish was used?
We are starting a hemlock timber frame pavillion next month and I need to choose a stain. I love the finished color of this project!

Hi Tara! Thanks for your kind words. I don't know the finish, but do know that these timber frame trusses are Western Red Cedar. We've not built any timber frames from Hemlock, but I feel certain that a good paint store could come up with a similar color for your timber framing.
