I have a design dilemma design with my entry. Trying to incorporate color and/or interesting art on the long side wall. However, wondering if a significant or high impact art piece would be wasted on a side wall. The wall is more easily viewed from the stairs leading to and from the lower level. I have considered options from a large piece of art, a gallery wall, a tapestry, a narrow entry table with art above, to a bench with art above. Dimensions: 10’8” from end of entry rug to end of wall; 11’ from floor to ceiling (10’8” from floor to dining room wall cutout - see Pic #2); and 5’6” for narrowest entry floor width.
