I am struggling with picking out a back-splash to coordinate with Kashmir White Granite Kitchen Counter tops and a dark cherry, more modern cabinets. I was thinking to have the back-splash go all the way up around the kitchen window (see pic 4 from another Houzz). I saw this in a magazine and it looked really nice. Excuse the blue tape...we are doing some touch-ups.

I want a tile which is gorgeous. Kashmir White has a lot of garnet and white "diamond" little flakes in it. I was thinking to play up the more "white" diamond flakes.

Any help would be appreciated!
