Design Dilemma Entry Exterior

Recommend a Front Door

To get into my house, you turn left at the top of the stairs and walk right into the living room, where shoes, bikes, umbrellas, and snow shovels accumulate. So, the plan is to convert the front bedroom into an entrance hall. If I replace the two panel sliding window with a door, can anyone recommend something beautiful. There is a good budget for this and openness to making a big statement.

While you're at it, why not redo the front porch? It would be nice to break up the run of steps and hide the void below the proch. White would look good.

This door and the side lights would work.
This more traditional one with a side light would work, too. Notice the porch.
A classic bungalow door would be a good choice.

I really appreciate these suggestions. I know what you mean about the stair configuration. in fact, we do have a longer-term plan of changing out the porch and stairs. The photos you selected are very helpful. Cheers.
