The new purchase doesn't fit on the wall as it is so large it covers the trim on the door. The pinkish furnishings with the gray walls but the yellowish floor is not really working together IMO. Light fixture over the table looks as though it might be mounted too high.

Grey furnishings would have maybe been a better choice.

I was afraid that it was too big! I'm having such a hard time finding a piece of furniture that fits this wall, because of how narrow it is and because of the placement of my switches.

As far as the coloring, it must be my camera. My furniture is normally bright white, not pink. I will post better pictures tomorrow and include other views of my open floor plan.

We haven’t asked what you want the furniture here to do? What’s the function you want filled?

The already existing knobs would be fine but if you'd like them replaced it could definitely add more interest. However if you want the focus to be either on the art/mirror then I would personally keep the hardware as is.

Here are a few examples I put together for you:

What are you going to do with the slider? Curtains? If so, then do this first, then deal with that bit of wall space.

IMO does not say modern , it is too high and I think chests of drawers belong in bedrooms find a nice console table for here with a piece of art above it and if drapes are going to be your window covering then nothing on that wall since you will need that space for stack back, so get the rest of the windows done and then see what you need ther.

I'm going to look for a small console table that will fit that space. I will do either blue or gray console and art above it.

As far as curtains go, I have tried that before. I do not like that look. Plus, we have plenty of privacy in my living area, so there is no need.

I wouldn't put any furniture on that wall. I'd also be hesitant to put anything there.
