Hi, we need to place an order for this shower arm and still have so many questions and concerns. It looks like this is possibly installed through the shower pan. It also appears that the water lines run up through the bottom of the stand pipe. Is there a special mounting plate or bracket or additional framing that needs to be installed for this item to provide rigid support for it? Do we need to do anything special for the shower pan or execute additional water proofing measures because of its location on the shower floor? Could you please attach any installation instructions

You will receive everything shown in addition to flex lines that run from the valve to the opening on the bottom of the shower column where your water supply attaches to the shower. You will also receive mounting hardware.
