The counter stools are just under the 24”H that is listed in the description. But this is the measurement at the outer edge of the seat. The height in the center, where you actually sit, is a full inch and a half less. This makes the stools a bit too short for my 36” counter height. The difference is 13.5” and should only be 10”.

Otherwise the stools are sturdy and attractive. If I traded for bar height, they’d be too tall. I’ve already added felts and this does not make much difference. Any ideas for a remedy?
