Thanks for the pics:)

If you can add - to this post, don't start another - a measured layout of the area and a budget? If you can include what rooms are around the kitchen - that would be great and if you can steal room from any of these areas or need to work with the area you have.

You don't have any pic in an idea book, so we are not sure of your style - stained cabinets or painted?

If you don't get enough help after adding the additional info, post over in the kitchens forum:

Thank you! I am in the process of measuring and getting a budget together. I think I will need to work with the room I have, however the kitchen space is long and a seating area will need to be created with more light. (built in breakfast nook) I like the idea of keeping the "boxes" from the base cabinets as they are in good shape. I also want to be eco-friendly and possibly re-face the upper cabinets. The drawers are in awful condition and I'm tired of repairing them. I plan on doing most of this myself as I am very handy and have some experience in home remodeling. The demo I can do for sure. I picked out some ideas for my idea book, however I'm new at this site and I'm not sure people can see them. I did make them public.... I look forward to using Houzz!
