It is busy. I think something simple would be better. A true white glass subway would work. I think a glass subway would be better than a ceramic.

I am not a fan of glass tile for the kitchen. I think you should give the beautiful counter top center stage and get either a simple 3" by 6" white or grey subway tile. This grey tile is from a collection of hand-made tiles from Complete Tile located in New York state. I used their tiles in my kitchen remodel. Love them.
