Use one side floor to ceiling shelving and you will have plenty of room to store items and move around.

Well yes, it will be cramped but how much time are you going to spend in there? I had one just about those dimensions; the shelves on both sides plus the end were about 10" deep. Shallow enough things don't get lost; canned goods 2-3 deep, tall canisters for dried goods, flat baskets you could remove for cloth napkins or small items. Stacks of drinks and water on the floor, bread maker and items rarely used at the far end. It held a ton of stuff and I still miss it.

Is there any possibility of putting a double door on the long wall and using 18" deep shelves around the other three walls?

GN builders, I have a question. My pantry will be roughly 5.5’ wide and 10’ length. I would like shelving on both sides, small counter space and a counter depth refrigerator. Does anyone think this can be accomplished? Any design ideas? Thank you
