The timber and wood may be more valuable than you think. Before doing anything contact one or more companies that specialize barn wood. Figure out exactly what you have. There is a show on TV called Barnwood Builders you may have an interest in seeing. Good luck.

Agricultural taxing can be advantageous. Put some chickens in there and sell local. Good income source too.

Yes. But the concern is the 6' ceiling. I will likely contract a structural engineer to see if I can do anything to remove the second floor to give me a height of almost 16'

Is the roof sound?

As Carolina asked, what condition is the roof in? Is that where the panels are missing? Water intrusion will cause rapid premature deterioration of your structural members.

Looks to be built into the slope of land....can you more easliy access the second floor with a small ramp from the higher lawn side? Then you could easily use the second floor... Weigh the cost of "fixing " this versus dismantling for salvage
