Creating Attic walk up

8 years ago
I currently have pull down stairs to the attic in my hallway. I'd like to eventually finish the attic and convert to a walk up with a narrow set of stairs or a spiral staircase via one of the bedrooms. would this be difficult/costly to create another access point to the attic? Using the access for the pull down stairs is out because it's in the middle of the hallway.
