I agree, a sputnik light would be a good idea. Might be a tad trendy for my personal taste, but anything clear would go well so that the attention is on the bookshelf and chairs.

Agreed, threers. Thanks! The room has 6 can lights already, which provide ample light for work, so adding a chandelier is really for the eye appeal more than anything.

You definitely can do a few different things, so your final decision will be based on personal taste. We have a large selection of chandeliers, such as our Navesink chandelier or our Elsa Chandelier. To help with finding one of the right size, add the length and width of the room in feet... use that number in inches. For example, if the room is 10' x 14', then your chandelier diameter should be 24".
