Agreed, there's already so much wood going on cream cabinets would be a nice relief from all of that.

I would keep your cabinets as they are and paint the walls cream. The wall color does not work with the cabinets. Your cabinets look great and just need some hardware. Your home is beautiful!

Paint the cabinets. And paint the walls as well - they are too dark and dreary I think.

Painting the walls, adding hardware & changing the backsplash would really lighten up the space without having to paint the cabs.

Keep the cabinets wood -- even if you stain them darker. You could paint the door the same color as you choose for your wall.

I like the wood cabinets. Painting them will compromise them even if it’s a professional job. They loom good and I’d leave them alone. I agree try painting the walls a nice neutral cream color. In the living room the darker floors stand out because you don’t have anything covering them yet. Get a nice big rug and then see how you like it. Your cabinets are a nice tone of wood and I’d leave them alone.
