That's a beautiful rug and looks good with your lamp. It reminds me of a Navajo Eye Dazzler pattern.

This is a beautiful rug and you did the right thing: hang on right of lamp so you have the triangle (3) effect of table, light and wall hanging (and yes, it is crooked..:.). Go with a more rustic table and use baskets or other Indian accessories. Best luck!

The rug is gorgeous and the credenza is beautiful. I imagine you measured it to ensure it fits into that fairly small space. I have to admit I would have hung it in the middle rather than to the right and would have chosen a skinny lamp with a smaller shade to give center stage to the rug. What I really loved was the feet with the cute socks in the second picture. I hope you don't mind my saying that the photographs distract from the rug. I would hang the rug lower and keep the space underneath fairly clear.
