Heating & Air Conditioning

Central Heat problem

Today while I was at work my wife called and told me she smelled an electrical smell inside the house and the heater was going off and on. She could hear it outside cutting off and on. I told her to keep it off until I got home.

I changed the filter and reset the breaker but it’s still turning off and on. I have a video of the noise it makes outside. Anyone have any idea? Here’s the video.

Sounds like you’re ready for takeoff! I’d call either Air
Traffic Control in the Tower for 'Clearance' or an HVAC technician.

Turn it off and call an air conditioning repairman. What ever it is,you will not be able to fix it anyhow.

It's hard to properly diagnose the problem without a hands-on perspective. We'd recommend that you have a repair technician take a look and assess the problem.
