What is your concern?

Ours was about 250'. Since it is another 100+ feet to the house, they put a transformer in its place when permanent power was brought in.

Thanks. Just wondering how far away the temp pole could be from transformer. My building site is about 250 feet from transformer.

Temp power can be quite far from the transformer. Mine was approved at 300' from the closest transformer. There shouldn't be a huge amp draw from this temp power pole as it will be for some power tools etc.

Often the "saw pole" is closer than the house is going to be to the transformer anyhow. The poco around here just tends to drop them as close to the edge of the property as possible.
