House was built late 50s and kitchen/dinning room have been remodeled by previous owner. We want to update to add counter space, storage, and second oven. We've thought about an island for the center of the kitchen as shown in the pics by the brown paper on the floor, add a dark butcher block table type island. Behind the wall of cabinets is the brick fireplace. We'd like to center the fridge on the wall it is on now and get a counter depth fridge. Expand the window over the sink to improve lake views with open shelving on one side and glass door cabinets on the other side. Extend the length and width of the current peninsula and recenter stove top and oven. We'd put a second oven on the end of the counter adjacent to the outside door. Know it's a lot but does this sound good. What are we missing?
