Guest Bathroom Makeover

We will be tiling the entire vanity wall with the tile below. The wall measures 4'2" x 6'3". We will be replacing the overhead fixture, and the mirror. The fixture we are leaning towards is W 4.5" / D 4.5" / H 20". I would love some suggestions for the mirror, style and size. I'm thinking rectangle.

Also, we will be painting the walls a light grey, Vaspar, Polar Ice. I would like to paint the cabinet, and would love suggestions on color.

The ceiling in here is relatively high, not sure, but we had purchased a semi-flush mount fixture, and it looked lost. I think I should have a pendant light, is that okay? Thank you to all :)

Those sconces are only suitable as accessory/decor lighting, not as a primary light source. Have you ever stared into one of those old strip lighting fixtures that were so popular in the 80s? Same effect of clear bulbs, no effective shade.

If you get bulbs that are bright enough to provide lighting for plucking eyebrows/putting on makeup/ etc, they will blind anyone standing at the mirror, no matter how cute the sconces may be. If you want to use them, you will need to add another primary light source so that you can use very low-lumens bulbs in those.

If you can, and it's in the budget, change the light to two sconce's on each side. I would also leave the cabinet till the end, as warm wood can work really well with cool colors. Also consider the floor tile.

From googling, valspar polar ice looks quite teal to me. Harp Strings seems more grey.

Yes, I would like to use the sconces pictured, in a brushed nickel. Thank you, I realized I made a mistake about the paint color. We have "Polar Star" and not "Polar Ice" glad you caught that :)

Thank you. Yes, those were our intentions. We do have a center light as well. We tried a semi-flush mount in the center however it looked lost, because the bathroom has a high ceiling. We thought about a hanging fixture instead, but would like something to complement the sconces.
