i happen to really like these. people use the cement tiles in the kitchen all the time

another option you could do if you don't want it super busy, is to refinish the wood and make a 'rug' from the tiles

I worked with many designs, such as this. if you like it...that really is all that ought to matter.

It is different.Nowadays everybody stuck with hardwood or laminate.Whenever I walk into a friends home ,its always the same whole entire floor hardwood,blahhhhh to me.I am debating the same situation now.I ll do my kitchen and entry which is huge with tile ,more useful since high traffic area.If you like it go for it.You ll use it at the end.I would use a little less busy one though,since it is a small kitchen

I put this tile in my new build laundry room and in a bathroom. I love it! Everyone comments on these tiles - they love the look. They would look great in most rooms. One bonus is that you can't tell if they're dirty because of the "distressed look".

Better check the PEI and COF.

I like the pattern tiles, but I'm not loving that one. Other people were right with the "dirty" factor. I think you are on the right track, but maybe need to keep looking for other options similar to this. I do like the idea of this as a backsplash or over the range.
