Hi - yes, if you get a good contractor in who has worked with concrete before to seal and fabricate work surfaces etc also adding industrial lighting will help with the look too - but concrete is a long term thing - so I would possibly guide you towards having the bar made of stainless steel instead - as when the boys leave home - you can claim this space as your own again and will be easier to remodel this way !! Reclaimed wood ( complete with printed words on still ) can also work well in an industrial theme ! And a big TV with gaming chairs is a must !!!!

If you are clear coating the foundation walls, I would consider climate heat loss and gain, exterior moisture control. Concrete conducts both hot and cold and is not water proof. Sealed concrete can bluster off the finishes if any of the above conditions transpire. Insulation and waterproofing the exterior may be required.
