We recently converted textured ceiling BG into flat. I am not happy with the end results. The edges are not straight and the ceiling isn't flat enough. Our ceiling is vaulted and pretty high. I like beams on the ceiling. Should I add more beams? How to fix the bad job described above? How to cover the edges that aren't straight? And what color should the beams be. Our floors are dark hardwood hickory. Thank you for all your help.
