Can you please tell me what type of wood flooring and where to purchace this. Also I see you used beige and gray on the wall in the same room, is this a usual process? I cant decide between the two colors when using a dark wood floor.

    Cool grays will typically be close to the blues on the color fan - warm grays will have a HINT of beige, brown, green or yellow.

      The flooring was selected at Flooring Services in Austin - it's called Woodmark Texas Estate 5”, 7” and 9” plank, color Whiskey. The paint is actuall all Kelly Moore KM4189-2 Stepping Stone. It looks gray on the curved wall but that's just the way the light is hitting it. When using gray I usually go for a "warm" rather than "cold" gray.

      How do you determine which colors are a warm gray when looking at a color fan? Also what is the type of wood? maple? Can it be purchased only in austin or thru a manfacturer? Thank you
