Old Wooden Writing Table?

Need some help identifying the type and age of this table with leather writing surface. I bought it at an old antique store in central LA and apparently it was purchased out of Texas. I don't believe it is all that special, but I was curious about its background potentially, and I like to continue to learn from the antique furniture masters and gather as much info on my pieces as I can. The slotted screws definitely appear to be quite old but the legs seem more modern?

    I think it was a hotel writing desk, and from the 1950s or 60s because of the shape of the legs and the finish.
