Help please! Doing a partial reno to our home which includes our entryway. As you can see, there is a LOT of wood. We eliminated wood on the largest wall and will sheet rock instead, I plan on painting it a light gray/neutral color. The floor will be tile that looks like reclaimed wood (lots of gray and brown). Originally, we thought we could eliminate all of the wood on the walls and just keep the ceiling wood, which I was going to paint white. Because of the large amount of windows and trim, we realized taking it all off and sheet rocking would be painfully expensive and time consuming. So, the wood has to stay. My big dilemma - can I paint ALL of it white (ceiling and walls), but leave the windows trimmed out in the natural wood?! We have a lot of natural wood in our kitchen, so thought that might be a nice tie-in as you walk in the entryway. Thanks so much!!!
