Cilantro stems and leaves turning curly?

Hi - I have a rectangular planter in my balcony for cilantro and recently noticed that for couple of cilantro plants, instead of growing long slender stems, they started growing shorter curly stems with smaller denser leaf structure. Color of leaves and stem on those plants seem darker than other ones. They used to be fine until few weeks ago and I've never seen cilantro growing this way. Other plants in same planter look all fine. Any clues what's happening and is this okay? Is there anything I could be doing wrong?

    Nice try but botanically impossible ;- ) maybe a chronic aphid infestation? Chemical drift was my first thought. Closer, clearer pictures of the leaves would be useful. The light reflecting off the foliage makes it impossible to see details clearly.
