My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Assuming you're referring to the island countertop - it is Red Oak with a clear coat.

    Hi Mary,
    The countertop is a Red Oak butcher block counter. These should not be used for food prep & are not water resistant. They look beautiful, but aren't the most practical kitchen countertop. Pros & Cons of Butcher Block Counters
